As
darkness engulfs your soul
Drowning
with no sign of light
Damned be
these circumstances
Pulling me
down on my knees-
Inexhaustible
battle from within
Looking
further beyond, sedated
Searching
a sign from above me
To guide
and take my hand softly
Is there
anyone listening out there
Can anyone
hear my frantic pleas?
Silence this
torturing of my soul
Ripped apart
– falling into pieces
Looking
upon a small smile to love
That tiny
hug that pacifies my heart
A
ever-lasting love giving me strength
To fight
this war brewing ahead of me
One that
crosses all known boundaries
Bestowing
the urge to grasp unto life
My sole
reason to breathe – live anew
Enlightened
- finding my way once again
